Food Quality and Safety Policy
Dharma Foods, Lda, focuses its activity on the Quality, Food Safety and Authenticity of its products in the market, also seeking to consolidate an Internal Food Safety Culture. These elements are considered differentials and generators of value for customers, employees and shareholders.
The company considers full compliance with the international standard that encompasses the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) to be a priority for the continuous improvement of its Quality and Food Safety Management System (SGQSA), in addition to meeting customer requirements and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
The priority guidelines for the application of this policy are:
• Increase Customer Satisfaction, number of customers and sales volume
• Promote active education and training programs to raise awareness among all company members, in compliance with current legislation;
• Evaluate employee performance in relation to food quality and safety;
• Encourage continuous improvement and ensure the smooth running of the company based on the performance of
employees and their satisfaction assessment;
• Produce and market safe products;
• Optimize the use of energy resources to contribute to greater environmental sustainability and reduce the ecological footprint, taking into account current climate change
• We recognize the importance of social responsibility and are committed to managing donations of surplus products in an ethical and transparent manner, benefiting charitable organizations, assistance entities and needy communities.

• Reduce the number of Non-Conformities related to Logistics and Quality and Food Safety
• Increase the range of suppliers and the value of suppliers, and reduce the number of complaints to suppliers
• Increase production volume without increasing the number of non-conforming products
• Reduce deviations from analytical control nonconformities
• Reduce the number of non-conformities raised by external entities and in internal audits
• Obtaining FSSC 22000 certification, maintaining BIO, Vegan, Fairtrade certifications
• Absence of cases of Food Defense and Food Fraud
• Full compliance with the preventive maintenance plan and reduction in cases of corrective maintenance
• Effectively carry out the traceability and withdrawal exercise within a maximum of 3 hours
• Review and Update of HACCP, Food Defense and Food Fraud Systems

Senior management assumes responsibility for the implementation, review, dissemination and maintenance of this policy,
as well as the structure of the SGQSA. It is important to emphasize that interested parties include customers, suppliers, employees, statutory and regulatory entities, partners, certification bodies, the state, business partners, end consumers and management. All members of the organization undertake to comply with these determinations.
